LINKS | April 3, 2020

Hey guys. I don't know about you, but I am in week three of quarantine, and frankly, I'm thriving. I miss wandering through TJ Maxx, but I am loving the part where nobody expects me to leave my house. I spend half my money paying the mortgage every month - I might as well enjoy this place.

Mostly, I recognize that I have not one single thing to complain about right now so I just won't. In the grand scheme of things, I'm got off pretty easy and there's a lot of folks who didn't.

Anyway, let's move on. Haven't we heard enough about the Coronavirus to last us the rest of our lives?

Quarantine Friday + 60º. Turns out Duke likes playing with fire. Weird. I made long island ice teas for Ry and me, and Duke couldn't believe his good luck. We let him roast marshmallows and hotdogs and called it dinner.

Well what do you know, not a dang thing. Unless you missed last week's links, which was actually pretty good.

2 || INTO IT

Where do I buy it?

3 || SHOPPING

I bought a cheap fanny pack on Amazon a few weeks ago for my California vacation and was surprised by how much I loved it. I wore it across my chest and now I'm looking to pull the trigger on one of those sling bags. A little bigger, a little more designed for how I want to wear it.

Finally, the part of the show where I direct you to better writers with real things to write about.

- Listen, this Pandemic is Not Your Vacation. What is difficult to understand about don't leave your GD house?

- More happily, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone is free to listen to on Audible.

- Local friends: Benzie County has resources and needs. Click here to give help or get help.

- I treat myself to live show at least once a week.

Looks like a text my husband would send.

- I made this cinnamon bread last night and it is *chef's kiss*. I also forgot that I left it to rise in my microwave and boy did it rise....for 12 hours.

6 || PLANS

Oh lol. Remember the old days when you could have plans on weekends?

It's *supposed* to rain tomorrow, so we'll probably watch more movies and eat too many snacks, but that's standard procedure around here these days. I read a meme the other day that said something like "the only guidelines we're ignoring around here are the ones about screentime."

It was funnier, but you get the gist.

Happy weekending!

PS I put on jeans earlier just to make sure I still could. The snack game is a littttttle aggressive over here.
